Midweight UX Designer – Remote (E‑commerce Retail)

About the role

We are seeking a Midweight UX Designer to join a heritage home‑interiors retailer that is expanding its digital presence. This remote position focuses on creating impactful and accessible experiences for both web and mobile channels within an e‑commerce environment.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the end‑to‑end UX design process from research and discovery through to final delivery.
• Produce user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes and other UX artefacts to communicate design solutions.
• Partner with development teams during implementation to ensure designs are delivered accurately.
• Review user insights, analytics and performance metrics to identify usability improvements.
• Champion user‑centred design practices and promote a customer‑focused approach across the business.
• Support the ongoing development and refinement of the design system, UX standards and best practices.
• Lead or contribute to workshops, design reviews and cross‑functional collaboration sessions.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Midweight UX Designer, preferably in a retail or e‑commerce setting.
• Demonstrated ability to apply UX thinking, problem‑solving and end‑to‑end design processes.
• Comfort with balancing user needs, business goals and technical constraints.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of information architecture, interaction design and accessibility principles.
