About the role
Starling is looking for a motivated Mobile Security Engineer to join its Cyber Security team. You will be responsible for designing, building and maintaining security for the bank’s Android and iOS applications, protecting millions of customers while they use the service.
Key responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain security controls for Android and iOS mobile applications.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify, triage and remediate mobile security vulnerabilities.
- Provide technical consultancy and guidance to ensure secure development and operation of mobile products.
- Stay up‑to‑date with emerging mobile security threats and best practices.
Required profile
- Strong interest in mobile security and a proven track record of securing mobile applications.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of security initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills to advise cross‑functional teams.
Required skills
- Android platform security.
- iOS platform security.
- Mobile application security concepts and vulnerability remediation.
