Mortgage and Protection Broker

About the role

We are seeking a Mortgage and Protection Broker to join a well‑established independent brokerage in Birmingham. The role focuses on delivering impartial mortgage and protection advice to a national client base, handling both residential and buy‑to‑let cases.

Key responsibilities

• Manage residential and BTL mortgage applications, including complex cases.
• Provide associated protection advice and solutions.
• Opportunity to write commercial mortgage and bridging finance cases.
• Work with qualified client leads supplied by the company.
• Collaborate with an in‑house administration and compliance team to progress cases to completion.

Required profile

• Experience in mortgage brokerage, preferably with residential and BTL products.
• Ability to work independently while leveraging provided leads.
• Strong communication skills for client interaction.
• Commitment to a Monday‑Friday schedule (8:30 am – 5:00 pm) with no weekend work.
