Motor Fraud Solicitor/Associate (NQ+) – Manchester

About the role

Our client, a leading defendant firm with offices across the UK, is expanding its Manchester motor fraud department. They are seeking a qualified solicitor or associate to manage a full caseload of motor fraud matters, working in a hybrid model with up to three days remote per week.

Key responsibilities

• Handling your own caseload of motor fraud claims, including low‑velocity impact, bogus passengers and exaggerated claims.
• Managing interlocutory proceedings, case management conferences and client meetings with meticulous attention to detail.
• Supporting partners in servicing existing clients, developing new business opportunities and strengthening client relationships.
• Attending court hearings, pre‑trial meetings and adhering strictly to court timetables and procedural requirements.
• Maintaining high standards of file management, drafting reports, correspondence and legal documentation.
• Ensuring compliance with client‑specific service level agreements, particularly reporting and reserving protocols.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with experience handling a personal caseload of insurance fraud matters.
• Background in a defendant firm is essential.
• Newly qualified candidates should have paralegal experience or have completed a training seat in insurance fraud.
