National Sales Account Manager

About the role

We are seeking a commercially‑savvy National Sales Account Manager to drive growth across the food and foodservice packaging sector. Based in the Midlands with national coverage, you will act as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams, ensuring seamless service and identifying new business opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and expand key accounts, building strong, proactive relationships.
• Handle pricing, lead‑time, product availability, logistics and supply‑chain discussions with clarity and honesty.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, logistics and design teams to deliver seamless service and pre‑empt issues.
• Identify commercial growth opportunities within existing accounts while balancing profitability.
• Challenge existing processes and propose smarter packaging solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in account management or sales within food, foodservice, packaging, or a closely related B2B environment.
• Deep understanding of routes to market, client relationship management and fast‑moving supply‑chain dynamics.
• Commercially aware, inquisitive and confident in driving conversations.

• Salary £55,000‑£60,000 DOE plus bonus.
