National Technical Manager

About the role

As the National Technical Manager you will lead and develop a talented team of Technicians across the UK. You will be responsible for day‑to‑day leadership, ensuring safe, efficient and consistent operations while delivering exceptional service to our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and grow the Technical team, setting and tracking performance targets.
• Oversee scheduling, resource planning and service delivery to meet customer needs efficiently.
• Maintain high service standards by liaising with technicians, customers, external equipment suppliers and internal teams.
• Drive continuous improvement, develop technical capability and ensure compliance with safety and quality procedures.
• Collaborate with other business functions to align technical operations with overall company goals.

• People‑first leader with proven experience managing technical or operational teams.
• Excellent communicator who builds strong relationships across teams and with customers.
• Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities and operational workflows.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a track record of delivering exceptional service.
