Network Design Engineer - Aruba

About the role

Join a global leader in connectivity and digital solutions as a Network Design Engineer specialising in Aruba technologies. The role is based in Manchester (with options in Leeds, Birmingham, London or Bristol) and operates on a hybrid model – three days in the office and two days remote.

Key responsibilities

• Capture detailed customer technical requirements and translate them into comprehensive solution designs.
• Lead the technical direction and delivery of network solutions at both high‑level and low‑level design stages.
• Manage review and validation processes for new and in‑life products and services.
• Oversee customer solution engagements, create statements of work and coordinate third‑party deliverables.
• Build and maintain senior‑level customer relationships.
• Plan and execute customer migrations.
• Resolve complex solution issues, conduct root‑cause analysis and manage escalations.
• Identify risks, implement controls and mitigation strategies.
• Provide thought leadership for complex bids and define strategic approaches.

Required profile

• Proven experience in high‑level and low‑level design of complex network solutions, preferably for enterprise or public‑sector clients.
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.
• HPE Aruba Associate certification (or equivalent).
