Network Design Engineer – Aruba Solutions

About the role

Join a global leader in connectivity and digital solutions as a Network Design Engineer focused on Aruba technologies. Based in Manchester, you will work in a hybrid model, collaborating with customers to translate high‑level requirements into detailed, post‑sale network designs and ensuring successful implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Capture detailed technical requirements and develop comprehensive solution designs.
• Manage the technical direction of designs, including review and validation for new and existing services.
• Create statements of work, coordinate third‑party deliverables, and oversee customer engagement.
• Plan and execute customer migrations, conduct thorough testing, and hand over solutions to support teams.
• Lead root‑cause analysis for complex issues, identify risks, and implement mitigation controls.
• Contribute thought leadership in bid responses and strategic solution approaches.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing high‑ and low‑level enterprise or public‑sector network solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to build senior‑level customer relationships.
• HPE Aruba Associate certification (or higher) is highly advantageous.
• Solid understanding of Cisco networking concepts.
