Night Assistant – Female Applicants Only

About the role

The Night Assistant provides essential safety, security and support during overnight hours for a female domestic abuse service. Working on a 4‑night on/4‑night off pattern, you will help maintain a secure environment for vulnerable clients and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor security, fire and telephone systems throughout the night.
• Perform regular checks of the property, report repairs and maintenance issues.
• Clean communal areas and rooms as required.
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all service users during night shifts.
• Collaborate with the on‑site team to deliver high‑quality service.

Required profile

• Experience working with vulnerable client groups.
• Ability to work alone during night hours.
• Valid legal permission to work in the UK.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
