Occupational Disease Solicitor – Newly Qualified

About the role
Join a nationally recognised Casualty team within a leading international law firm, working on a diverse portfolio of occupational disease claims. This newly qualified solicitor position offers high‑quality work from day one, focused on Noise Induced Hearing Loss and asbestos‑related claims, with strong support for professional development.
Key responsibilities
- Support senior lawyers on complex, high‑value litigation involving occupational disease claims.
- Manage your own files, conducting case assessments and liaising with insurer clients.
- Review medical reports and expert evidence to build robust arguments.
- Assist with employer’s liability and public liability matters.
- Contribute to a collaborative, fast‑paced team environment.
Required profile
- Newly qualified solicitor or experienced senior paralegal with a background in defendant personal injury or occupational disease litigation.
- Experience handling employer’s liability and public liability claims.
- Confidence in reviewing medical and expert evidence.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high client service standards.
Required skills
- Review of medical and expert evidence.
- Knowledge of occupational disease law, particularly NIHL and asbestos‑related claims.
- Understanding of employer’s liability and public liability principles.
