Occupational Health Physician

About the role
Our leading client in Manchester is seeking an experienced Occupational Health Physician. The position can be full‑time or part‑time and may be offered on a permanent or contract basis (outside IR35). You will provide expert medical advice and support to help manage employee health and wellbeing.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct telephone and face‑to‑face occupational health consultations.
- Manage sickness absence and support return‑to‑work processes.
- Handle attendance, performance, and case management issues.
- Provide ill‑health retirement advice.
- Deliver pre‑placement health assessments.
- Perform health surveillance and HAVs Tier 4 assessments.
Required profile
- Current GMC registration.
- DOccMed qualification (minimum).
- Proven experience in occupational health practice.
