Offshore Night Site Technician - Wind Energy

About the Role

Join a leading UK-based offshore wind farm developer as a Night Site Technician. This critical role is essential for ensuring the continuous operational integrity of offshore conversion stations through vigilant monitoring and proactive maintenance during night shifts.

Main Missions

• Perform routine inspections and fundamental maintenance tasks on the conversion station.
• Execute minor repairs, equipment checks, and general upkeep to ensure site readiness.
• Support planned and reactive maintenance activities under the guidance of the offshore team.
• Monitor equipment and systems continuously, providing rapid reporting of any anomalies.
• Manage logistical operations including the handling of deliveries, tools, and materials.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in work areas, workshops, and accommodation spaces.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and HSE departments during night operations.
• Act as a key member of the offshore emergency response team.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in offshore environments (Wind, Oil & Gas, or Marine sectors) is highly preferred.
• Hands-on approach with foundational mechanical or electrical knowledge.
• Ability to work autonomously and maintain high performance during night rotations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, disciplined mindset.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Physical fitness required for manual tasks and working in confined spaces/weather exposure.

Required Certifications

• Mandatory: GWO with enhanced First Aid, Medical, Chester Step, HUET + CA EBS, Slinger & Signaller.
• Desirable: Relevant technical vocational training or Crane Operator certification.
