Online Tutor – Flexible Remote Teaching Role

About the role

Reeson Education is seeking a dedicated Online Tutor to deliver high‑quality virtual tuition to learners across core curriculum subjects from September 2026. The role involves one‑to‑one and small‑group sessions designed to close learning gaps and boost confidence.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging one‑to‑one and small‑group online lessons tailored to individual learner needs.
• Identify learning gaps and implement effective teaching strategies to improve attainment and examination readiness.
• Build positive relationships with students, encouraging motivation, confidence and active participation.
• Assess, track and record student progress, adapting lesson plans and interventions as required.
• Maintain effective communication with parents, carers, schools and other professionals.

Required profile

• Previous experience tutoring or teaching students within an educational setting.
• Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum.
• Excellent communication and digital literacy skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles in an online environment.
• Patient, supportive and professional approach.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply.
