Operations/IT Apprentice

About the role

The Operations/IT Apprentice will support Verlingue’s growing Operations and IT functions across the UK. Working under the Head of Operations, the apprentice will help deliver digital and non‑digital solutions, ensuring the mobile workforce has the right tools and data to make effective decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line IT support (Wi‑Fi, VPN, printers, softphones) and resolve tickets using GLPI.
• Assist with IT projects and equipment roll‑outs, maintaining an up‑to‑date asset register.
• Set up new starter accounts and equipment, and manage leaver and mover processes.
• Support Microsoft 365 administration and user permission changes under supervision.
• Monitor mobile phone and data usage in collaboration with the Operations/IT team.
• Coordinate with external partners such as Lanix, Verlingue France and Acturis for IT support.
