Paralegal – Commercial Property (Birmingham)

About the role

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading law firm for a Paralegal to join its highly regarded commercial property team in Birmingham City Centre. The role offers exposure to a diverse portfolio of corporate occupiers and a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with negotiation and completion of commercial real estate transactions, including lease renewals, surrenders, licences, acquisitions and disposals.
• Review title documentation, analyse search results and support due‑diligence to identify risks.
• Manage completion and post‑completion processes, preparing SDLT returns and Land Registry applications.
• Liaise with clients, solicitors and internal stakeholders to deliver a high level of service.
• Support fee earners on a varied caseload while meeting deadlines.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant within a commercial property team.
• Experience of landlord and tenant matters, preferably representing occupier clients.
