Paralegal – Hybrid (3 days office, 2 days remote)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Paralegal to join a rapidly growing legal practice in Manchester city centre. The role offers a hybrid working pattern, with three days in the office and two days remote, and provides full training and clear progression opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and draft correspondence, reports and documents.
• Assist with case management, ensuring files are accurate and up‑to‑date.
• Communicate with clients, providing updates and managing expectations.
• Prepare and file court documents such as applications, statements and bundles.
• Support administrative tasks including diary management and scheduling.
• Liaise with courts, counsel and external parties to progress matters.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and confidentiality standards.
• Record time accurately and assist with billing processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in a paralegal or litigation‑based role.
• Law degree preferred; LPC, SQE or CILEx qualification (or working towards).
• Understanding of general litigation processes.
• Confident communicator with a strong telephone manner.
• Experience using a case‑management system (e.g., Proclaim or similar).
• Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal systems.
• Ideally experienced with housing disrepair cases.
• Motivated, proactive and a strong team player.
