Part-Qualified Management Accountant – Hybrid, £40-45k

About the role

We are seeking a part‑qualified Management Accountant to join a fast‑moving organisation in Birmingham. The role is hybrid, offering a competitive salary of £40‑45k per year and the chance to develop your accounting qualification while working on diverse finance projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate management accounts, reconciliations and month‑end financial reports.
• Collaborate with operational teams to deliver insightful financial analysis that supports performance improvement.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting, ensuring figures are robust and communicated to stakeholders.
• Use PowerBI to analyse event data, identify trends and present findings for business decisions.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal controls and finance procedures.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior finance team members.
• Support ad‑hoc projects aimed at improving finance systems and processes.

Required profile

• At least four exams completed towards an ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification and actively studying for full qualification.
• Experience in fast‑paced environments such as FMCG, retail or third‑party logistics.
• Strong analytical ability and proven reliability in meeting month‑end deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for working with finance and non‑finance stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel locally between sites as required.
