Part‑time Out‑of‑Hours Business Travel Consultant (Home‑based)

About the role

This part‑time, out‑of‑hours position is fully home‑based and supports a low‑volume stream of corporate travel requests. You will work two fixed nights per week (Monday and Tuesday) with occasional additional cover weeks, providing a highly flexible work‑life balance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage out‑of‑hours travel requests received mainly via email.
• Book and amend flights, hotels and car hire for UK, European and worldwide itineraries.
• Handle changes, reissues and urgent disruptions in line with client travel policies.
• Provide occasional leisure assistance when required.
• Remain on‑call, with long periods of downtime after initial tasks are completed.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Business Travel Consultant within a Travel Management Company.
• Strong knowledge of Amadeus (cryptic/command essential); Galileo experience is a plus.
• Confidence in handling reissues, fare rules and airline policies.
• Ability to work independently during urgent or crisis situations.
