Personal Injury Solicitor – Birmingham

About the role

Our client, a leading defendant employer liability/personal liability practice in Birmingham, is looking for a Personal Injury Solicitor to join a busy EL/PL team. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of domestic and international claims, working on multi‑track matters on behalf of insurers and defendant clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a full caseload of defendant EL/PL claims from instruction through to resolution.
• Handle a mix of domestic and international insurance matters, including multi‑track claims.
• Develop case strategy in collaboration with senior colleagues and the hiring manager.
• Provide clear reporting to insurer clients and other stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate file management, compliance and time‑recording.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with NQ to 5 years PQE.
• Strong experience in defendant EL/PL work.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload independently.
• Experience with multi‑track matters is advantageous.

• Expertise in handling employer liability and personal liability claims.
• Strong case management and legal research abilities.
