Personal Injury Solicitor – Catastrophic Injury

About the role

A leading international law firm is seeking an ambitious associate to join its highly regarded Catastrophic Injury team. This role offers the chance to work on complex, high‑value claims alongside recognised specialists in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and assist with a caseload of catastrophic injury claims.
• Investigate liability and quantum issues on complex, high‑value cases.
• Support senior lawyers on technically challenging and sensitive matters.
• Liaise with clients, experts, counsel and other stakeholders.
• Contribute to delivering practical, commercially focused legal advice.
• Participate in client relationship management and business development activities.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales or CILEX qualified with at least 2 years post‑qualification experience.
• Experience defending catastrophic injury litigation.
• Strong negotiation and case management skills.
• Experience of direct client contact and involvement in business development initiatives.
• Excellent communication, analytical and organisational abilities.
