Pharmacy Colleague – Part‑time (Manchester)

About the role
Join ASDA’s in‑store pharmacy team in Longsight, Manchester as a Pharmacy Colleague. This part‑time, permanent position offers flexible day shifts and the chance to develop a career in pharmacy while supporting customers with their health needs.
Key responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and discuss personal health issues with confidence.
- Accurately assemble and process prescriptions.
- Promote pharmacy services such as Prescription Collection, Medicines Use Reviews, blood pressure checks and stop‑smoking schemes.
- Support the Pharmacist with record‑keeping and delivery of patient services.
- Collect prescriptions from doctors’ surgeries on behalf of customers.
- Complete an accredited course to become a qualified Medicine Counter Assistant within six months, then train as a Dispensing Assistant.
Required profile
- Friendly, highly organised and proactive.
- Good computer literacy and strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with customers.
- Enjoy problem‑solving and helping people achieve a positive healthcare experience.
