Plasterer – Mobile role in New Milton

About the role

We are looking for an experienced plasterer to join our social housing maintenance team covering the Bournemouth area. This mobile position offers stability while allowing you to work independently in occupied homes, managing your own stock and tools.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out internal plastering repairs, including skimming, patching and full wall/ceiling finishes.
• Perform damp and mould remedial works where required.
• Maintain high‑quality standards while working in occupied properties.
• Manage stock and materials using a company‑provided fuel card and van.
• Update job status in real‑time via a PDA or mobile device.

Required profile

• Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Plastering or equivalent experience.
• Full UK driving licence (required to operate the company van).
• Asbestos awareness training.
• Experience in social housing or reactive maintenance.
• Own tools are preferred.
• Strong customer service orientation for direct tenant interaction.
