About the role

The Eventus Legal practice is looking for a Police Station Accredited Representative to join its specialist criminal defence team in Birmingham. You will work directly with senior solicitors, providing front‑line support to clients during police interviews and early investigation stages.

Key responsibilities

• Attend police stations independently and represent clients throughout the detention process.
• Provide legal advice and assistance during cautioned interviews.
• Support clients during the initial phases of criminal investigations and proceedings.
• Collaborate with solicitors and colleagues on a broad range of criminal defence matters.
• Liaise with clients, investigators and other parties to ensure clear communication of information.
• Assist with case progression from initial attendance to ongoing preparation.

Required profile

• Current Police Station Accreditation.
• Proven experience attending police stations independently on behalf of clients.
• Strong organisational abilities and the capacity to remain calm under pressure.
• Passion for criminal defence work and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
