Power Systems Tender Manager

About the role

The Power Systems Tender Manager will lead technical coordination for large‑scale tender projects, often exceeding $200 million, involving HVDC technology on offshore platforms. Working closely with customers and the tender team, you will shape competitive technical solutions and ensure high‑quality deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical interface for customers, partnering with the tender team to design and deliver high‑impact proposals.
• Lead global tender engineering activities, streamlining processes across multi‑work‑package projects.
• Ensure technical designs meet safety, reliability and cost‑effectiveness criteria.
• Estimate budgets and define execution designs in collaboration with regional leaders and Order‑to‑Remittance experts.
• Collaborate with platform, control and design leaders to incorporate best practices and lessons learned.

Required profile

• Proven ability to lead complex, high‑value tenders (up to £1 B) and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Experience navigating high‑scrutiny environments and presenting technical justification to senior leadership.
• Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle and financial risk mitigation in EPC settings.
• Background in high‑voltage engineering (HVDC preferred) or comparable power‑sector disciplines.
