PowerBI Developer – £340/day – Remote – 3‑Month Contract

About the role

We are seeking a PowerBI Developer on a three‑month contract to deliver high‑quality reports and dashboards for a client. The role is fully remote and operates outside IR35, offering a daily rate of £340.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and interactive dashboards.
• Implement data transformations using Power Query and DAX.
• Write and optimise SQL queries for data extraction and modelling.
• Apply data‑modelling and visualisation best practices to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate on data‑warehousing, ETL processes, Dataflows and Azure‑based solutions.
• Configure Row Level Security (RLS) where required.
• Support CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps where applicable.

Required profile

• Practical experience or strong exposure to Power BI report and dashboard development.
• Good understanding of SQL, data modelling and visualisation principles.
• Familiarity with data‑warehousing concepts, ETL processes and Azure services.
• Basic knowledge of Row Level Security (RLS) in Power BI.
• Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines is advantageous.
