Pre‑Construction Manager – MEP Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Pre‑Construction Manager with a strong MEP background to lead major projects from concept through to handover. Based in Manchester with a hybrid working model, you will have autonomy to influence design decisions and drive the company’s growth across multiple sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the pre‑construction delivery of complex MEP projects from initial concept to handover.
• Develop and coordinate detailed MEP designs with consultants, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Review drawings, specifications and technical information to identify value‑engineering opportunities and risks.
• Manage the tender process, ensuring accurate information is communicated throughout the pre‑construction phase.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and project teams to secure repeat business and successful project delivery.
• Work Monday‑Thursday 8:00‑17:00 and finish early at 15:30 on Fridays.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Pre‑Construction Manager within MEP or building services.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of major projects.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Commutable to Manchester.
