About the role
Academics is seeking enthusiastic Primary Supply Teachers to provide day‑to‑day cover in mainstream primary schools across Cheltenham and surrounding areas. The role offers the freedom to choose assignments across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, allowing you to gain varied classroom experience while making a positive impact on pupils’s learning.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, high‑quality lessons without the need for extensive planning or marking.
- Teach across multiple year groups and different school environments.
- Choose when and where you work, enjoying flexible short‑term or long‑term cover.
- Receive ongoing support from a dedicated team of education consultants.
- Join a network of skilled and motivated primary supply teachers.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS, KS1 and KS2 curriculum.
- Effective classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Positive, proactive and adaptable approach to teaching.
