Primary Teacher (ECT) – Supply Positions in Swindon

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic Early Career Teachers (ECT) who have recently completed their PGCE and hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to provide daily supply teaching across primary schools in Swindon and surrounding areas. This role offers a flexible entry point to gain classroom experience, build confidence, and showcase your teaching abilities to local schools.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons to primary pupils on a daily supply basis.
• Adapt quickly to different classroom environments and curricula.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance and lesson plans.
• Support pupils’ learning and behaviour in line with school policies.
• Collaborate with school staff to ensure continuity of learning.

Required profile

• Recently qualified teacher with QTS (or soon to hold QTS).
• Inspirational, enthusiastic and able to serve as a positive role model.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage daily assignments.
