Primary Teacher – Full‑time (Stockport)

About the role

Reeson Education is looking for a passionate and experienced Primary Teacher to join a mainstream primary school in Stockport (SK5). This full‑time, long‑term position will work within the KS2 team and start as soon as possible.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a KS2 class as a full‑time Primary Teacher.
• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons.
• Support communication, physical development and social interaction.
• Create a warm, nurturing and structured classroom environment.
• Build strong relationships with children, parents and carers.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure inclusive practice.
• Monitor progress and use observations to inform future planning.
• Encourage independence and a love of learning through play and structured teaching.
• Foster a safe, stimulating and creative environment.
• Communicate effectively with the wider school team, SENCO and leadership.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
• Teaching experience in a UK mainstream primary school.
• Confident and nurturing with excellent curriculum knowledge.
• Ability to create a rich, play‑based and purposeful learning environment.
• Strong classroom management skills and high expectations for behaviour.
• Team player passionate about childhood education.
• Full‑time availability and a proactive, professional attitude.
