Private Client Solicitor (NQ) – Greater Manchester

About the role

We are seeking a newly qualified solicitor to join a busy and well‑established private client team in Greater Manchester. You will work within a supportive wills and probate department, managing a developing caseload of client matters.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on wills, lasting powers of attorney, probate and estate administration.
• Prepare and file legal documentation, including applications to the probate registry.
• Meet clients in the office, at their homes or care settings to discuss their needs.
• Manage matters through to completion, including Court of Protection cases.

Required profile

• Newly qualified solicitor with experience in private client or wills & probate work.
• Strong understanding of wills, lasting powers of attorney and estate administration.
• Excellent communication, organisational and client‑care abilities.
• Motivation to pursue STEP qualification (advantageous).
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred.
