Private Client Solicitor (NQ) – up to £55,000 DOE

About the role

This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified solicitor to join a busy, well‑established wills and probate team in Greater Manchester. You will work within a supportive environment, handling a growing caseload of private client matters.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on wills, lasting powers of attorney, probate, estate administration and Court of Protection matters.
• Meet clients in the office, at their homes or in care settings to understand their needs.
• Prepare and draft legal documentation, including wills and powers of attorney.
• Submit applications to the probate registry and manage cases through to completion.
• Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Newly qualified solicitor with experience in private client or wills & probate work.
• Sound understanding of wills, lasting powers of attorney and estate administration.
• Excellent communication, organisational and client‑care abilities.
• Motivation to work towards STEP qualification.
• Enthusiastic, proactive and committed to high‑quality client service.
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred.
