Probate Solicitor – Hybrid Role with AI‑Enabled Practice

About the role

Join Co‑op Legal Services as a Probate Solicitor and manage a varied caseload of probate matters from start to finish. Working in a hybrid model, you will split your time between home and one of our offices in Manchester, Sheffield, Bristol or Stratford‑upon‑Avon, using cutting‑edge AI‑enabled legal technology.

Key responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of probate cases of differing complexity, handling each end‑to‑end.
• Record and update case information accurately using our case‑management system.
• Communicate with clients primarily by telephone and email, providing a client‑focused service.
• Collaborate with senior team members and support staff to continuously develop legal expertise.
• Mentor junior colleagues, sharing knowledge and best practices.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor or legal executive (CILEX or STEP) with experience in probate law.
• Proven ability to prioritise and organise work in a high‑volume environment.
• Strong client‑focused attitude and capability to build relationships remotely.

Required skills

• Proficiency with case‑management software.
• Familiarity with AI‑enabled legal tools.
