About the role
This 12‑month placement joins Airbus Defence and Space's Procurement team supporting the Space Digital Business line. You will work on project‑facing procurement activities, helping to source external goods and services for bids and programmes. The role offers a blend of hands‑on experience and exposure to a diverse, multinational team.
Key responsibilities
- Organise all procurement activities on bids and programmes.
- Collaborate with the wider procurement function to ensure alignment.
- Meet business‑unit needs to deliver successful bid or project outcomes.
Required profile
- Currently enrolled in a Business, Economics, Engineering or Project Management degree.
- Demonstrated commercial awareness.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑moving environment with multiple stakeholders.
- Proactive in developing commercial relationships with customers and suppliers.
What we offer
- Salary of £24,500 per annum.
- 37‑hour work week with flexible and hybrid working options.
- Half‑day Fridays and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
