Product Analyst – Data‑Driven Insights for Product Teams

About the role

Join StepStone Group’s Product Analytics team in London and help shape product decisions with data. You will own end‑to‑end analytical projects, turning raw data into actionable insights that improve user experience and business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with product teams to define, monitor and investigate KPIs, delivering deep‑dive analyses and clear recommendations.
• Support product discovery through opportunity sizing, hypothesis generation and A/B test design, execution and interpretation.
• Own data foundations by writing tracking specifications, validating event capture and collaborating with data engineers on pipelines.
• Build and maintain dashboards using Adobe Analytics, Power BI and Python, and communicate insights through visual storytelling.
• Leverage AI tooling to accelerate code generation, data exploration and documentation while ensuring analytical accuracy.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in product or data analytics, with a track record of delivering impact.
• Strong SQL proficiency and solid Python skills for analysis and automation.
• Hands‑on experience with product analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, Amplitude or Mixpanel and BI platforms like Power BI, Looker or Tableau.
• Experience designing and analysing A/B tests, applying core statistical concepts and rigorous data validation.
• Clear communicator able to tailor data visualisation and storytelling to diverse audiences.
