Product Owner – Customer Experience & Service Ownership

About the role

This role is with a nationally recognised savings provider and sits at the intersection of product ownership, customer experience and service design. You will use insight, data and stakeholder collaboration to shape and improve end‑to‑end customer journeys.

Key responsibilities

• Own and prioritise the backlog for customer and service improvements, aligning delivery with business value.
• Act as the voice of the customer, leveraging feedback, analytics and research to identify enhancement opportunities.
• Lead discovery activities to map pain points, validate solutions and define requirements.
• Collaborate with service designers, delivery, operations and CX specialists to develop and refine services.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to boost satisfaction, engagement and performance.
• Provide direction within Agile teams, supporting planning, prioritisation, refinement and acceptance of outcomes.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships, balancing customer needs with organisational priorities.

Required profile

• Proven commercial experience in financial services, banking, public sector or savings.
• Strong analytical mindset with a data‑driven approach to decision making.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment (2 days onsite).
