About the role

As a Production Scheduler in Manchester within the FMCG industry, you will plan and coordinate production schedules to ensure smooth, efficient operations and support supply chain and procurement functions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer demand and operational targets.
• Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure material availability.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to address delays or demand changes.
• Maintain accurate records of production activities and inventory levels.
• Collaborate with various departments to optimise efficiency and minimise downtime.
• Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts or bottlenecks promptly.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
• Provide regular updates and reports on production performance to management.

Required profile

• Experience in production planning or scheduling within the FMCG industry.
• Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficiency with scheduling software and tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
