Programme Lead – Clean Economy (London/Brussels/Berlin/Washington)

About the role

This senior Programme Lead will shape E3G’s Clean Economy agenda across trade, investment and strategic foresight. You will drive the delivery of the Trade & Investment workstream, build political access, and support the Associate Director in developing a forward‑looking programme and fundraising pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Trade & Investment strategy, strengthening global supply chains and aligning investment governance with climate goals.
• Manage and mentor a multi‑location team, ensuring high performance and collaborative culture.
• Develop thought leadership and represent E3G externally with partners, funders, media and at international forums.
• Oversee grant portfolio setup, delivery, tracking and reporting, including risk management.
• Build and expand the fundraising pipeline, drafting proposals and cultivating funder relationships.

Required profile

• Proven experience in diplomacy, trade and investment within the climate policy space.
• Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills for working with diverse, remote teams.
• Demonstrated programme and project delivery expertise, including budget management.
