Project Manager – Electrical Switchgear

About the role
Vertiv is seeking an ambitious Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of electrical switchgear projects across the UK and Ireland. You will work closely with engineering, design, and customer teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, oversee, and deliver multiple LV & MV switchgear projects from concept to completion.
- Define project scope, objectives, and resource requirements.
- Prepare and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and report variances.
- Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, providing status updates and managing expectations.
- Foster collaboration across teams, assign responsibilities, and act as the escalation point for project issues.
- Promote best‑practice methodologies, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure health, safety, and risk management procedures are adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
Required profile
- Proven experience managing complex engineering or manufacturing projects.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
- Excellent organisational and budgeting skills.
- Ability to drive cross‑functional teamwork and resolve issues promptly.
- Commitment to delivering high‑quality results on schedule.
