Property and Finance Litigation Solicitor

About the role

Our client, a well‑respected law firm, is expanding its Finance Litigation Department and is looking for a Property and Finance Litigation Solicitor. The role is hybrid, permanent and suitable for candidates from newly qualified (NQ) up to five years post‑qualification.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a personal caseload of property and finance litigation matters.
• Prepare pleadings, witness statements and briefs to counsel.
• Maintain and develop relationships with repeat clients, ensuring high‑quality service.
• Work to strict deadlines in a pressurised environment, both independently and as part of a team.
• Provide commercial insight and support to senior lawyers on complex cases.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with NQ to 5‑year PQE (higher experience considered).
• Demonstrated commercial awareness and a strong client‑care focus.
• Experience in general litigation and handling a full case lifecycle.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet demanding client needs.

Required skills

• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Proven case management – drafting pleadings, witness statements and briefs.
• Client relationship management.
