Property Damage Solicitor – Birmingham

About the role

We are seeking a Property Damage Solicitor to join the Birmingham team of a leading international law firm. The role involves managing complex, high‑value property damage disputes across a range of industry sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a personal caseload of litigated property damage matters.
• Assist on larger, multi‑party claims involving fire, flood, construction defects, contamination, explosions and other major losses.
• Advise insurers and commercial clients on first‑party claims, policy coverage issues and subrogated recovery actions.
• Prepare and present pleadings, conduct case management and liaise with experts and opposing counsel.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with 3‑5 (or up to 6+) years post‑qualification experience in insurance‑backed property damage litigation.
• Proven experience handling first‑party claims, coverage disputes and subrogation matters.
• Strong technical ability, excellent organisational skills and a commercial approach to client service.
