Psychology Teacher – Full‑time, South East London

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Psychology Teacher to join an Ofsted outstanding school in South East London. This permanent, full‑time position starts in October 2025 and offers the chance to support students in a vibrant learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess psychology lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and management.
• Provide pastoral support and contribute to the wider school community.
• Ensure safeguarding and Prevent duty responsibilities are met.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS, PGCE or equivalent.
• Recent experience teaching in a UK secondary school.
• Up‑to‑date safeguarding training (within the last year) and Prevent awareness training (within the last three years).
• Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS check.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of psychology content and pedagogy.
• Effective classroom management techniques.
• Ability to assess and report student progress.
