About the role
This 12.5‑month placement is based in Airbus UK Public Affairs, working across London, Filton and Broughton. You will gain a full appreciation of Airbus’s business and policy environment while supporting senior leaders and engaging with government bodies.
Key responsibilities
- Support the Public Affairs team with political relations, including briefings for senior executives and attendance at parliamentary hearings.
- Prepare public policy reports, monitor legislative developments and produce briefings for internal and external use.
- Assist with stakeholder mapping, VIP site visits and the planning and delivery of Public Affairs events.
Required profile
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Politics, International Relations, Economics, Public Policy or a related field.
- Strong interest in current affairs and excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, well‑organised and collaborative within a team.
What we offer
- Salary of £24,246 per annum.
- 35‑hour work week with flexible and hybrid working options.
- Half‑day Fridays and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
- Opportunity to work across Airbus sites in London, Filton, Broughton and other UK locations.
