Qualified Social Worker – Family Help Team

About the role

Our client Enfield Council is seeking a qualified social worker to join the Family Help team. The role provides assessment, care management and social work services to disabled children and their families, supporting the council’s statutory duties.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out assessments and provide care management for disabled children and their families.
• Make recommendations for service provision in line with Children Services thresholds and eligibility criteria.
• Develop, monitor and review individual care plans, liaising with families, professionals and external agencies.
• Ensure compliance with council financial regulations and make effective use of available resources and funding.
• Complete required documentation and adhere to Children Services recording policies.
• Utilise management information systems for recording, retrieval and analysis of case information.
• Receive supervision from the line manager and be assessed against agreed standards and targets.
• Undertake training and proactive professional development activities.

Required profile

• Qualified social worker registration and relevant experience with disabled children.
• Successful completion of an enhanced DBS disclosure.
• Ability to work within council policies, financial regulations and multi‑agency environments.
