Quality Assurance Officer

About the role

The Quality Assurance Officer will support the Quality Manager in maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality for our luxury airline catering operations. You will work closely with production teams to ensure compliance with hygiene, GMP, and HACCP requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the QA Manager with daily office tasks and goods‑in procedures.
• Conduct hygiene, GMP, PRP, OPRP and HACCP audits, raise non‑conformances and follow up on corrective actions.
• Monitor CCPs, temperature records and traceability systems across production, warehouse and flight assembly areas.
• Perform airline‑specific verification checks, prepare samples for microbiological and taste testing, and oversee chillers and dry stores (FIFO, batch codes, expiry dates, allergen segregation).
• Verify personal hygiene of staff in high‑risk areas and produce regular QA reports.
• Train production staff on food safety and quality standards.
• Investigate customer complaints and submit detailed reports to QA leadership.

Required skills

• HACCP implementation and monitoring.

• CCP and temperature control management.
