Real Estate Solicitor – Professional Support Lawyer

About the role

This position offers a senior commercial property solicitor the chance to shape knowledge management across a leading legal team. You will monitor developments, produce insightful content and support colleagues throughout the real‑estate practice.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor legal, regulatory and market developments affecting the real‑estate sector.
• Produce legal updates, briefing notes, articles and thought‑leadership content for internal and external audiences.
• Build and maintain relationships with external knowledge professionals, industry bodies and legal networks.
• Design and deliver technical training programmes, workshops and learning resources for lawyers.
• Develop, manage and continuously improve the department’s knowledge resources.
• Draft and maintain practice notes, guidance documents, toolkits, checklists and other practical resources.
• Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency through legal technology and innovation tools.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years post‑qualification experience as a commercial property solicitor.
• Strong technical legal knowledge of the real‑estate market.
• Ability to analyse complex legal developments and communicate them clearly.
• Proactive approach to emerging legal and market issues.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
