Recruitment Consultant - Education Sector (Sales Experience Required)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Recruitment Consultant to join our education‑focused team in Birmingham. The role combines sales expertise with a passion for helping schools find the right talent and supporting candidates in their career progression.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage a portfolio of primary, secondary and SEN schools.
• Identify new business opportunities and sell recruitment services to prospective clients.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, delivering tailored staffing solutions.
• Source, interview and place qualified education professionals, ensuring a strong match.
• Oversee the full recruitment cycle from client brief to candidate placement and after‑care.
• Record activity and progress in CRM software and meet sales targets.

Required profile

• Proven sales experience with a record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong organisational skills and the capacity to juggle multiple priorities.
• A genuine interest in education and helping others succeed.

Required skills
