Recruitment Consultant – US Construction Market

About the role

Circle Recruitment is seeking an ambitious Recruitment Consultant to launch and grow a dedicated US Construction desk. You will partner with US contractors, developers and clients across commercial, residential, infrastructure and specialist projects, operating from Manchester with flexible hours to match US time zones.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the US Construction desk and drive its revenue growth.
• Develop new and nurture existing client relationships within the US construction sector.
• Source, qualify, interview and place high‑calibre candidates into construction roles.
• Manage the end‑to‑end 360° recruitment process, from brief to placement and after‑care.
• Negotiate offers while ensuring compliance with relevant US regulations.
• Consistently achieve and exceed personal billing targets.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months experience as a Recruitment Consultant in a similar market.
• Strong interest or background in construction, engineering or technical sectors.
• Ambitious, resilient and target‑driven with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a hybrid/flexible environment.
