About the Position

Join NHS Lanarkshire as a Registered Nurse (Charge Nurse) and take a pivotal role in delivering high-quality patient care. This leadership position offers the opportunity to manage clinical caseloads while supervising a multidisciplinary team in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Main Missions

• Manage a dedicated portfolio of patients by applying advanced nursing processes and effective case management.
• Provide clinical supervision and delegated responsibility for Registered Nurses, junior practitioners, and clinical support staff.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to ensure seamless care delivery.
• Assist the Team Leader in implementing clinical and personnel governance frameworks.
• Act as interim Team Leader during their absence, ensuring continuity of leadership and service quality.
• Uphold professional standards in accordance with the NMC Code of Conduct and value-based practice principles.

Candidate Profile

• Must be a Registered Nurse with valid registration.
• Proven experience in clinical nursing with the ability to take on supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage clinical teams effectively.
• Commitment to professional ethics and high standards of clinical governance.
• Flexibility to work a 12-hour shift pattern, including days, nights, weekends, and unsociable hours.
