Roofing Contracts Manager

About the role

The Roofing Contracts Manager will lead the tender and contract processes for roofing projects, coordinating between contractors, operation coordinators and clients to ensure successful delivery.

You will be responsible for planning labour and materials, securing pricing, and maintaining site safety and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee tenders and manage Contracts Managers and Operation Coordinators.
• Plan labour and material requirements, ensuring sites are fully resourced.
• Secure material prices, manage stock, and attend pre‑start meetings.
• Act as primary contact for clients and main contractors, providing project updates.
• Check and sign off RAMS for each site and ensure compliance with CSCS/SSSTS safety standards.
• Work with the commercial team to monitor budgets, track variations and maximise profitability.

Required profile

• Significant hands‑on experience in the roofing sector, including new build and re‑roofing of social housing.
• Experience with solar installations is preferred but not essential.
• Minimum SMSTS or SSSTS certification.
• Strong ability to read drawings, produce quotes and work to financial budgets.
• Proven track record of managing site teams across multiple locations.
• Good health and safety record.
