Sales Director – Fire & Security Systems

About the role

The Sales Director – Fire & Security Systems will lead commercial growth across the UK, focusing on high‑value security projects. This senior, field‑based position combines strategic account management with hands‑on selling of specialist CCTV, fire, intruder and access‑control solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a sales strategy targeting logistics, manufacturing, government, education and other sectors.
• Lead a field sales team, initially managing one Business Development Manager and a bid/tender support specialist.
• Drive sales of turn‑key security solutions, with an 80% focus on CCTV and 20% on fire, intruder and access‑control systems.
• Pursue large‑scale projects (£100k+), aiming to generate £500k of revenue per month once established.
• Grow and mentor a UK‑wide sales team to expand market coverage.
• Manage strategic accounts, major tenders and negotiate commercial terms.

Required profile

• C‑suite or senior sales leadership background, ideally 5+ years in a comparable role.
• Extensive network and proven track record in at least one target sector (e.g., logistics, manufacturing, government).
• Strong commercial awareness, negotiation skills and experience with major tenders.
• Demonstrated ability to win new business and lead high‑performing teams.
• Comfortable promoting full turn‑key fire and security solutions.
